UPDATE Wednesday, September 25 2024 / 2:20 pm America/Los Angeles -07:00 GMT

We want to update you that our development team has identified the issue and actively working on the fix. We will provide you with an additional update on Thursday September 26th, 2024 at 1:00 PM PDT with the timeline for delivering the fix.

We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue.

Please be advised that Workday is aware of an intermittent issue with business processes containing a delay step not resuming after the delay time frame has been met. This issue is caused by the Background Job “Business Process Resume Delayed Steps TZ” failing with a Stack Trace error due to the rehire of an employee with the New Hire ~Employee~ User Experience feature enabled. This feature will be renamed to Hire ~Employee~ Redesign & Consolidated Experience with the release of 2024R2 but remain opted out by default.

This issue will occur when the following conditions have been met:

  • The tenant is Opted-in to the New Hire~ Employee~ User Experience/ Hire ~Employee~ Redesign & Consolidated Experience feature.
  • Your Hire Business Process Definition is configured with Autocomplete enabled and a delay step.
  • You move a previous-employee Candidate to Hire
  • The previous employee’s profile contains a Worker Photo

Our team has identified a fix for this issue and are working on its delivery. We will update this alert once an ETA is confirmed.

Thank you for your patience as we work towards this resolution.
