When issuing a SOAP API request into Workday or using an Inbound EIB, you may encounter the following error:
Invalid ID value. ‘!**!’ is not a valid ID value for type =xxx
Where !**! is displayed instead of a Reference ID
The invalid message does not cause an integration to fail or in any way impact the outcome of the request; however if integrations are designed with steps based on validation messages returned this may impact the integration.
