Workday is aware of an issue where attachments are not consistently able to be uploaded on initiation steps of business processes. Users select a file to attach, but it is not visible after uploading. 

After attempting to upload the attachment and submitting the step, users experience a page error and are unable to initiate the business process;

The field Category is required and must have a value. 

2. Page Error

You must upload file contents when adding an Attachment.

Workday is currently reviewing with high priority and will update this alert as soon as possible.
