This issue was not related to the R1 Feature Release.

Service has been restored for all Data Centers as of 12:38 PM PT. Customers are now able to login and use the tenant as expected. There is no evidence that indicates any type of security issue or data loss of any kind.
We will continue to monitor this situation over the next 24 hours.
We are also seeing performance issues with the case management application causing it to either run slowly or be unresponsive which may impact your ability to run reports and update/create Support cases.

We’re aware of an issue where a subset of customers are unable to log into Workday. We are currently investigating the issue and will provide another update in 30 minutes.

Please be advised that beginning at approximately 11:20 AM PT, we began experiencing performance issues in all WD1, WD2, WD3, and WD5 Data Centers.
