In addition to the change of the release schedule, we wanted to also make you aware that attempts to update your Studio installation using the “Update Workday Studio” option or in response to a notification will unfortunately fail for this upcoming release. You may visit the Studio download page on Community and download an installer appropriate to your installation. Also please note that this release of Studio will require a compatible JDK17 to be installed locally.

We would like to inform you of an important update regarding the release of Workday Studio Early Access and Workday Studio 2025R1.
Due to recent changes relating to the updating of Studio’s underlying Eclipse platform version and in keeping with our ongoing commitment to quality, we are adjusting the release schedule as follows:
- Workday Studio Early Access: March 15th, 2025.
- Workday Studio 2025R1: March 29th.
