WorkaroundOption 1: Please force quit the application to allow the user to logout Option 2: Only if force quit is not an option (please note that this will have a change in how users sign in on desktop as well and will need to be reverted once the fix has been placed): Navigate to “Edit Tenant Setup – Security” Scroll to the SAML Identity Providers GridSelect the setting “Always Require IdP Authentication”
Resolution InformationResolution DateThu, 10/31/2024 – 14:26 America/Los_Angeles (GMT-0700)This issue is now resolved with the latest iOS update, which can be installed via the Apple App Store. In the next few days, it will begin to automatically be installed for those devices that are configured to auto-update. This fix will allow users to logout of the Workday application from their Apple mobile device.

As an update, our Development team has identified the root cause and the fix will be delivered with the next Workday Mobile Application update for iOS on Nov 12th (safe harbor applies). In the meantime, please continue to use the workaround.

Please be advised that Workday is aware of an issue where users on the latest version of Workday Mobile Application for iOS (version 2024.38.0) are unable to logout successfully.
