Split Your Direct Deposit by Percentage
Managing your pay is more flexible in Workday. You can now split your direct deposit using percentages, in addition to fixed dollar amounts. This enhancement allows you to mix and match dollar amounts and percentages to better align with your financial needs and ensure your pay is distributed exactly where you want it.
Whether you prefer setting aside a consistent percentage for savings or combining multiple accounts with different distribution methods, this new option gives you greater control over how your pay is deposited.
To get started, review the Payment Elections (Direct Deposit) Job Aid for a quick overview, then select Payment Elections in Workday to make your updates.
Take advantage of this new feature and customize your direct deposit in a way that works best for you.

GIA Requests are now in Worker Profile
To provide greater visibility into your GIA Requests, a new GIA Request report is now available directly from your Worker Profile in Workday.
You can access the report by selecting your Profile icon in the upper-right corner of the Workday screen, choosing View Profile, and navigating to the Benefits menu. The GIA Requests report will appear as a tab within the Benefits section.
This report displays all GIA requests you have submitted, along with their current status, allowing you to easily track progress in one centralized location.
The report includes the following details:
- Request Initiation Date
- Request Completion Date
- Request Status
- Student Name
- Semester/Year
- Class Campus
- Type of Studies
